VISA REQUIREMENT FOR FRENCH PASSPORT HOLDERS
French passport holders (excluding those with French Travel documents) do not require a visa to enter South Africa for a maximum period of 3 months for the purposes of holiday and business.
An immigration officer will require the following on arrival at a South African port of entry:
- Passport valid for no less than 30 days after the expiry of intended visit
- One blank (unused) visa page on passport
- Vaccination certificate if your journey starts or entails passing through the yellow fever belt of Africa or South America.
- Proof of financial means
- Return or onward ticket
- Documentation confirming purpose and duration of visit
Once admitted to South Africa, kindly pay attention to the endorsement on your passport. Any person who overstays his/her visit will incur a fine in terms of Sections 49 and 50 of the Immigration Act 13 of 2002...
